Sisters of Divine Providence
God Space is a ministry sponsored by the Congregation of Divine Providence of Kentucky, an international congregation of Catholic Sisters. The mission of the CDPs is: “to be living witnesses to the Providence of God. God’s love becomes real in us as we go out to be Providence to others through the works of mercy.”
Beginning in France, the CDPs continue to serve people and to reveal the face of God’s loving Providence throughout the world. Sisters today are educators, healthcare professionals, pastoral associates, and directors of religious education. They work with immigrants, young adults, children, and elderly persons. They are involved in peace and justice work, and they seek always to serve those most in need, especially women and children.
Associates of Divine Providence
Besides Sisters, there are also lay members in the community of Divine Providence. Associates of Divine Providence are women and men who, rather than professing religious vows, embody Providence spirituality in their daily lives. Like the sisters, the Associate Community is international with members spread throughout the world but connected by Providence.
This is the mission of the Associates of Divine Providence: “To live faith in the tenderness of God and to make the face of Providence present in society and in the Church—this is our mission as disciples of Jesus Christ. We are called to be the hands of Providence.”
God knows all your needs since God knows everything; God can provide for them since God is all-powerful; God wills to do so, since God loves us as children. What could you be troubled about?” Jean Martin Moye, Founder
