Keeping It Real with God: A Holy Week Lament, Providence Podcast
/What do you do when God feels far away?
In this Palm Sunday / Holy Week reflection, we enter into Jesus’ cry from the cross—“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”—and discover it as a prayer rooted in Psalm 22. This is a reflection on lament: honest, raw prayer that makes space for grief, doubt, and deep trust all at once.
As we begin Holy Week, this reflection invites you to bring your whole self before God—not just the polished parts, but the pain, questions, and longing too. Through the lens of Scripture and lived experience, we’re reminded that even in suffering, God is not far off.
If this Lent has felt especially heavy, you’re not alone. There is space here for real prayer. There is space here for you.
